Partner & Co-founder & Partner for Mutual Growth…and the search for the common good at Global Leadership Associates. She prioritises mutual growth and how we can take better action for the good of us all.
Together with Bill Torbert, she co-created the Global Leadership Profile, along with its sister instrument My Worldview, and is a leading authority on assessing and supporting change in leadership action-logics. For nearly thirty years Elaine and Bill helped establish developmental theory in the world of coaching and leadership.
The beauty of the work, in Elaine’s view, lies in creating deeper understandings and forming closer relationships. Honouring each person’s strengths while, at the same time, aligning them with organisational purpose and societal needs.
Elaine also hosts the Leading for Good podcast series, gathering people who are transforming leadership and aiming to stretch the concept of “a leader’s footprint”. Can leaders tip the world towards the good and contribute in ways that both feel good and are profitable?
